I am an ex collegiate track and field athlete. After track, I was looking for something to take my Athleticism to another level and discovered competing. I love the fitness lifestyle and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
My love for health and fitness started at a very young age. I was a cheerleader, basketball player, track and field runner, and softball player. I just loved being involved in sports year-round. The gym was always my second home. After finishing collegiate track and field I was looking for something to replace the void of organized sports. That’s when I found Bodybuilding. Bikini to be exact. After a year of competing I earned my IFBB Pro status in Bikini. Fitness is a huge part of my life as well as my children. We strive for excellence day in and day out.

When I was little I was picked on. I was different and weird. I wanted to be a “star” and I made that known.
But most of all I knew I wanted to be something nobody else was. Little did I know I was already that person and I still am. I have danced, cheered, written music, performed, played guitar, piano, and ukulele throughout my whole life and I still find myself doubting. After years of being different, feeling weak and even getting bullied, I started lifting and getting into fitness.
I also got myself into martial arts. In doing this I learned how much I was determined and how I never set a goal I didn’t reach. I also grew a lot throughout the journey. Now I am doing a lot and achieving my goals with everything I do because I believe I can. I am able, and I am willing to work. I am part of the Little Beasty Fit Apparel team to help empower and inspire others as well as learn from other women in the fitness industry. I am a part of it become it symbolizes growth.
I believe fitness and strength go a long way in a girl’s life and how they may carry themselves with confidence. Being strong, prepared, and ready to defend. Being a star, to me, now meaning to be an inspiration and a motivation to people and someone to look at ad up to. That’s exactly what I’m doing.
Little Beasty Fit reinforces the idea that strength has no limit and size does not matter. I am here along with the Team Beasty team to be the future of girls who feel like they are too small, weak or not good enough to achieve their goals.
It is never too late for a change and the originality of Little Beasty Fit line and team shows the reality of hard work and persistence no matter where you started or what you have been through It’s about being the best version of you at whatever it is you do, whatever the cost. It is not to “reach” success but to realize that you are already successful from where you’ve been and will continue to be successful even through failure.
Overcoming and being honestly and unapologetically yourself, from staying true to the best that is in you day after day, and that’s what you’ll be known for the most.

I was involved in cross country all 4 years of high school, but never did much weight lifting. In 2011, Freshman year in College, at Sam Houston State I became a member of BSA and was president of Freshman Project. Going into college I had no problem gaining the “freshman 15” with eating out daily, social events and not being active. Starting my sophomore year in college I became a Hooters Girl, serving and bar tending. Two years later I then became an Asst. Manager. While working in a restaurant, it truly is eating on the go being so fast paced and moving nonstop. While working there I noticed the unpleasant changes in my body and the effects it was having on me was depressing. In August 2015, I was offered a better job opportunity that consisted of some traveling the first half of the new year. In December 2015, my birthday month, I decided this would be the year i became a happier, healthier, fitter version of myself.
April 2015, I met the love of my life, who happens to be my nutritionist and coach. He introduced the “Qualitarian Lifestyle” to me as well as proper weight lifting. In August 2015, I decided I wanted to challenge myself and compete in a bikini competition. I’ve always been so self-cautious about my body and being in a bikini, I wanted to build my confidence up. I started training 12 weeks out and I must admit it was the most challenging, tiring, yet exciting journey I’ve ever been on. I’ve never felt more confident, energized and overall healthy! In December 2015, I competed in the biggest show in Texas, the Texas Cup, where I placed 6th in Novice and 8th in open out of 26 beautiful ladies, in the biggest class. This journey sparked a fire inside of me. “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.” I recently competing in my second show at the Branch Warren, July 15, in Houston, TX. I’m super happy with the package I brought to this show!
As a woman of Team Beasty, I want to show women it’s never too early or too late to work towards being the healthiest you! It’s ok to lift; The more weight training you incorporate, the shapely your body will be, and the fact that you will also be stronger will empower you. The changes I have seen and felt in myself make me want to share what I’ve learned with women everywhere. I hope to give back by sharing my knowledge, motivating, and inspiring women to live healthier lives. I want women everywhere to see that you can have the body you dream of if you put in the effort, be consistent, and make health a priority in your life.
Always determined, I’m following my dreams of one day becoming a IFBB Pro and motivator by sharing my fitness journey. “When you feel like quitting, remember why you started”

Megan is a wife and mother of three. Her fitness journey began when she was pregnant with her third child, and her husband was deployed to Afghanistan – leaving her alone with their 4 year old and 18 month old children. She joined a local gym and began participating in group exercise class 3-5 times a week. She was immediately hooked! On the days she worked out she felt so much less stressed, and better able to handle her tough situation. She felt empowered by exercise. Not only did the gym give her a reason to get out of the house each day, but she found herself surrounded by strong women who inspired her toward self-improvement: mentally, emotionally, and physically. Her third pregnancy, birth, and recovery proved to be her easiest, despite her husband being out of the country for nearly its entirety. She owes this all to her time in the gym. A year and a half later, Megan competed in her first NPC Bikini Competition where she won her height class in the Open category. Her current record has her 3x’s nationally qualified, with 1 overall win, and a top 5 placing (4th) at the prestigious 2017 Arnold Amateur Bikini International, making her the only American in top five line up of that class. She will continue to compete in the 2018 season and work toward her goal of becoming an IFBB Bikini Pro!
